New updates for the new Samsung Galaxy Note 5 have been revealed regarding a new VR headgear, specs, features and price details.

, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be receiving its own virtual reality head gear called the Gear VR from Oculus. Chief technology officer John Carmack has recently revealed their plans to launch the Gear VR with the Note 5 as

reportedly claimed that Gear VR is ready to be released sometime this year, during the Game Developer’s Conference 2015 last week.

“We’ve got a plan now; we’ve got a date,” Carmack said. “You can kind of mark it on the calendars. Oculus is going to go for it as hard as we can [with] broad consumers, trying to sell as many units as possible, unleashing Samsung [marketing] with the next Gear VR.”

Geeky Gadgets reports that the Gear VR will also come in handy with the Samsung Galaxy S6 and 6 Edge, and the device will be released in the market along with Samsung Galaxy Note 5.

Several rumors are making rounds regarding the Note 5’s release date as the

reports that the Samsung phablet will launch on Sept. 3, while Phone Arena claimed that it will launch on April 19 to April 27.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a 4K Super AMOLED display measuring 5.9-inches that can render a resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels at a pixel density of 743ppi, Design&Trend reports.
