Destiny Update 2015: Bungie Warns Players To Check Inventories When Using The "Destiny" Companion App As The Developer Hints A New Fix For The Bug In The Making!

Bungie has already released its plan for the upcoming 1.1.2 update in its

, clearly hinting it will come before the release of “House of Wolves” DLC.

According to

, players can expect a fix for the 4th Horseman, citing as how the patch notes weren’t accurate with the rolled out updates. In addition, the stability of the weapon, rate of fire and the magazine size will be modified and corrected as per the patch notes.

Bungie has given a word of caution to “Destiny” players who have been using the “Destiny” Companion App. Apparently, a new bug has been spotted, where players can lose the items that they are trying to move via the app.

According to

, the recent 1.1.1 update has now caused some side effects such as the surge in “WEASEL” errors. Although that issue has already been resolved, players will want to steer clear of losing items via app. The developer is still investigating the cause but to be on the safer side, Bungie recommends checking inventories and always exercising caution when using the app.

At GDC 2015, one interesting thing that was revealed is how the developer worked out the animation. According to senior animator David Helsby, using the camera smartly is one of the secrets to making a fluid title from a first-person perspective. The developer stated it depends on the way that the camera moves with the avatar.

Without throwing off gamers with motion sickness, Bungie turned to boxing in order to create the best animation from the first-person perspective.

According to

, Helsby noted that the team studied how the boxer’s head moves in reaction to the overall action and applied the same theory to “Destiny.” This makes the boxing observation of the head leading the body, an important part of the way animations played out in the fan favorite game. Besides, the developer also matched the animation movements with the expansion of the field of view that “Destiny” players can see with their guardians.

This was achieved by moving the aim point from the usual center of the screen to a bit lower down, enabling it to create a more expansive view from the top and the sides. Apparently, this may be what contributed to how the world in “Destiny” felt so detailed as well as massive, a point that fans so far identified in the game.

"Destiny" Crota"s End Raid Soloed In An Astonishing 16-Minute Speed Run; Check Out The Video!

The Crota’s End raid was without-a-doubt the most excruciating and challenging portion of “Destiny” when

first launched it. For an easy victory, numerous players resorted to pulling their Ethernet cable from the wall to glitch the near-invulnerable god.

According to

, today, top tiered guardians not only want to defeat Crota, but are also placing self-imposed restrictions to make sure that they completely humiliate the Son of Oryx.

Bungie’s “Destiny” is infamous for its absurd player-driven challenges including soloing Raid and taking a Sparrow where no Sparrow should be allowed to go. Keeping this in mind, a player undertook Destiny’s latest Raid, Crota’s End, solo. Although this is nothing new, the player managed to do it an astounding 16 minutes and 7 seconds.

With any challenge comes a swarm of players, striving to be the best; not for any specific reward, but simply because they can. Many players opted to take on Destiny’s Raid with more and more ridiculous requirements – completing it in 16 minutes, however, is equally insane and remarkable.

According to GamesPresso, Crota’s End has five main sections:

The Abyss

The Bridge

The Hallway

The DeathSinger

Crota

Each section is capable of a solo run, nevertheless using multiple cheeses and shortcuts does not always make them any less difficult, particularly during the latter sections.

The player who soloed the entire raid while only using No Land Beyond, widely considered to be Destiny’s worst weapon, is known on Reddit as Slayerage. GameRant noted it’s time to add one more entry on to the list of players who became legend, just as Bungie promised.

According to

, Slayerage used a Bladedancer Hunter to great effect, taking advantage of its Blink and Super abilities. Check out the video below by The Legend Himself.

Allegedly, Slayerage practised for a good 10 hours straigth prior to recording his fastest run. While on Normal, the run time is no doubt, impressive, particularly considering there are a number of occasions where Slayerage could have improved the time by a few seconds per encounter like Blinking off the rock in the opening section.

There are a few unseen techniques here such as using Blink while swinging the Sword to cross The Bridge without even activating it, or using the Blink to simply skip the whole section of The Abyss right at the start. Gamers can take advantage of both these tricks next time they take on Crota’s End, not speed running, though.

Slayerage is behind some of the most ridiculous Destiny feats you see across the internet, such as soloing Crota’s End on Hard Moder, or running Vault of Glass with two people.

Do you think you can beat the 16 minute time? Let us know in the comments below!

Bungie Weekly Update: A Sneak Peek At What"s Scheduled To Come Next For "Destiny" As Bungie Explains The Real Reason Why It Shuttered The Loot Cave At GDC 15!

Bungie revealed what’s next for Destiny in an announcement on its

today, March 6. After a long wait,

finally became a reality – a version number in the lower left corner of gamer’s login screen. While gamers enjoy the latest update, Bungie has revealed it has something new in store that “Destiny” players can look forward to.

Bungie confirmed that there’s another update in the pipeline and before gamers can download any of it to your drive, the company intends to unpack the next one in details just like the last update.

Although Bungie confirmed the next update is still weeks away, the company said before the “House of Wolves” begins its own descent through the stratosphere with precious cargo in tow, players can expect another “Destiny” update. Bungie pointed out that the upcoming weeks will play host to a very interesting conversation.

Bungie will start rolling out exactly what players can expect from 1.1.2 and players will also have an opportunity to meet the people doing all the hard work in bringing update to “Destiny.”

Talking about the Ride Along on Twitch, Bungie added that players who have not aimed their browser at one yet, are missing out on guided tours of the warzone led by the artists who built them. Players who want to get caught in the series can find them up on

.

In the exciting announcement, Bungie confirmed that “Destiny” is heading to the Moon. World Artist Sam Jones will be on hand to show the seeds of the Lunar colony while

will lend his unique expertise about the stories that disfigures the surface of Earth’s closest neighbor.

Remember the infamous Destiny “loot cave”? Destiny players camped out there for hours and wait for enemies to respawn, kill them and then collect all of the items they dropped upon dying.

In a related news,

revealed that Bungie’s John Hopson told attendees at the

in San Francisco on Thursday, March 5 that the real reason why Bungie shut the loot cave is that the loot cave was a total waste of time.

According to

, Hopson claimed they were weak enemies that didn’t drop very good loot.

Upon realizing that many players were spending a lot of time firing their weapons into a single cave in Earth’s “Cosmodrome” patrol area, they knew what was happening as it turns out, Bungie was well aware of the Cosmodrome loot cave even before “Destiny” even launched.

Hopson confirmed that they knew this was a potentially exploitable activity; however, Bungie didn’t care as the drop rate per minute spent is not any different than anything else.
